Joanna has more than 30 years’ experience of helping UK and international businesses and organizations develop their overseas markets – exporting, sourcing and setting up local offices worldwide.
She has an office in Shanghai and travels regularly to Asia and Eastern Europe with and on behalf of clients. She has organized and led many trade delegations since 1996.
She is a Founder Member of the China Advisers Network, a Member of the International Business Development Advisory Board at LUBS (Leeds University Business School), Visiting Fellow of Leeds University Business School, Graduate & Fellow of the Institute of Export and past Vice-Chairman of The 48 Group Club.
She also develops and delivers a range of international trade training courses as a provider to local businesses, Universities, Chamber of Commerce.
Simon has more than 25 years international sales experience and has worked and lived in the USA and New Zealand for international companies managing their international sales.
More recently he helped companies to set up offices in the USA, France and the Netherlands and helped recruit and to successfully manage global sales teams for these organisations.
Simon has worked extensively with a whole host of businesses to research and find new markets in overseas markets and appoint partners and distributors in countries ranging from Chile to Spain to UAE and Botswana.
Simon is a member of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management and the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
John has spent all his working life abroad, in export sales and helping companies do business in non-English speaking environments. He is a fluent Russian speaker and has worked as a technical translator for the BBC Russian Service and TIME Magazine.
John is proud to have worked for the Japanese government and served as an advisor on regional economic development to the Russian, Azeri, Lithuanian, Uzbek and Mongolian governments.
John’s speciality is to use his team to help you start your business in Eastern Europe, Russia and all the Russian-speaking countries, Mongolia, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.
Paul Walters has over forty years’ experience in international trade covering, logistics, supply chain and manufacturing. He has extensive experience travelling in Europe, the Middle and Far East and North America.
He now acts as an international trade adviser to small and medium size companies by tailoring support packages to suit their particular needs. Paul also works with local colleges and Universities offering introductory courses on Export and Documentation.
He is a member of the Institute of Export, an Export Ambassador for the Leeds City Region and a member of the Federation of Small Businesses Enterprise & Innovation committee.
